This beautiful research ship visited Tadoussac on the weekend. It has been here before but it is in the process of a large research/education mission called “Mille jours pour la planète” which is research and education related to climate change. They have an amazing website and in conjunction with Radio Canada have done a mini series of their trip and the episodes are available on the site. The website is in both English and French and has a ton of educational material that would be useful for teachers. Check it out here.

I’m loving your Excellent Adventure(s) but the link to Sedna on Radio Canada didn’t work — I got this:
Server not found
Firefox can’t find the server at http://www.sedna.radio-canada.ca.
Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of http://www.example.com
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
Hi Jill, thanks for the note. I just tried it again right now and put in ONLY sedna.radio-canada.ca and it took me right to the site. Alternately you can google sedna 4 and it will take you to the 1000 jours site. I will see if I can get the link in properly and post it again. Jane
Thanks. I’ll try again later.
This is fixed now!
That’s great. Thanks again.
