How great to be retired and just get to walk through the woods taking pictures instead of shoveling out the damn car that the snowplow has plowed in again! Beautiful day today. I hope we still think it is beautiful when the wind is howling and the snow is waist deep – but one day at a time. For today it is spectacular.

Luckily as this seems to be the official walking road for the town in the winter the snowmobiles all seem to go very slowly past here. Yahoo hope that continues.
We have been there with the wind howling and the snow waist deep. It is very cozy! and…one wonders how the roofs stay on some of the houses! The road does become a promenade. Ladies arm in arm in their fur coats, skiers and lots of dog walkers.
